PARTNERSHIP
The Palestinian Healthcare Partnership is a continuously expanding coalition of 30+ hospitals across all regions in the West Bank and Gaza. The partnership is led by representatives of various private hospitals and international agencies, supported by an International Health Advisory Group featuring experts from global institutions such as the WHO, RAND, and UCLA Institute of Global Health. The overall objective of the partnership is to increase availability and boost the quality of healthcare services while ensuring they are accessible to all.
INVESTMENT
A section of the blueprint will be dedicated to an investment plan on catalytic health initiatives such as mobile health units for Gaza, electronic medical records integration plan and a universal health insurance plan. A wider portfolio of investable projects related to health, such as 5G and trade, will also be featured. Together, these investments will form a coherent set of sustained and phased interventions as part of Palestine Emerging’s overall reconstruction and growth strategy.
PILOTS AND DELIVERY UNIT
A set of frontrunner initiatives is being prioritised, with an interim delivery unit to set up by the end of 2024 to facilitate investment packaging and implementation planning. The priorities of these pilots will be to address the urgent healthcare needs in Gaza and set up a partnership framework to unlock private investments into the health system across the West Bank.
